Nursery Facilities and Operations



High Country Trees Unlimited operates and maintains a 60 acre nursery facility at our company headquarters in Montrose, Colorado. At the Nursery we typically hold two to three thousand B&B trees ranging in size from four feet to thirty feet in height, and 500 to 1000 large B&B shrubs. Our trees and plant materials are carefully selected from our many years experience with the highest quality growers both locally and throughout the Western United States. A large percentage of our plant materials are dug, handled and transported with our own crews and equipment, ensuring the plants are properly cared for start to finish. We own and use Optimal brand spades exclusively for all our digging up to 60” rootballs. Additionally, we maintain nursery holding facilities in Basalt, Aspen, Durango, and Telluride Colorado, to better serve our clients.
